Well, there were some funny moments. But mostly, this movie was painful for me. It’s like that freaky Roberto Begnini acting out at the Academy Awards. I get embarassed and can barely look.

I can’t sleep. Does anyone here like opera? If so, what opera would you recommend getting to know first? I have an aria sampler with a song from Carmen, La Boheme, Romeo & Juliet, Rigotetto, among others. It’s nice not knowing what they’re singing about so beautifully.
