I’ve got it all set up - only the company I pay for my server space is having problems at the moment. I am told, though, that it is an “issue they are aware of and are working to correct,” and that it should be good to go in a couple of hours.

Sorry for the delay. Hooray for ipowerweb.com, right? Sigh.

As we move the site, I have assumed the role of recordkeeping (for the moment).  I have a small request. If you would like to post on the “new” community blog, would you please drop an email to rosarymia@aol.com? This way I’ll know how many users and passwords will be needed when we move things. Is anyone really that impressed with Phelps? I think trying to gobble up all those medals, well, is selfish and whiny. I know I’m wrong but I can’t help thinking that. There are others who are happy just to be there or to walk away with one medal, any medal. And here is this guy who really won’t be totally satisfied with just seven gold medals in one Olympics season. Maybe he really doesn’t feel like that and it’s the press reporting it like that. But it just seems plain wrong.

Bush,Obama  and McCain are  all talking tough  about the Russian / Georgian situation  all three faulting the continuation of the  conflict  on Russia .  Will  the  west  come  to Georgia’s aid ? Lets  not  forget  Chamberlain  and Hitler  .  If  Hitler  had  been stopped  early when  he  was    taking over   the  Rhineland  and  annexing  the sudatanland leading to his  take over  of  Checkoslavokia would  WWII have been  averted ?  Is  this   a similar  situation ?  Will this  be  Bushes shinning   hour ?   Will the  US use  it’s  secret weapon “The  Obama” to talk to everyone  or will it  use  it’s  other secret  weapon  “The McCain”  to  bomb  the hell out  of everyone ?  Which will work ?   Or will this  be a  forgotten  incident  in a few  days  as Americans  go back to wondering  “Hey ,  whats  to eat anyway ?”  Time  will tell .  Keep tuned  for more  action  .
